Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the CTET Exam for the recruitment of eligible candidates as teachers in Classes 1-8. CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and it is a national-level exam. Paper I is for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5 and Paper II is for candidates who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. There has been no official announcement regarding the exam dates and the vacancies to be filled by the exam. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the written exam, and once they clear CTET, they can apply to schools for the relevant teacher posts and get placed.
